Nikita was just three weeks away from taking her driving test, she was desperate to pass as she needed a car. Especially since she got a new job at the newly opened car warehouse; which was just under 3 miles away from her house. She couldn't keep asking her parents to drive her everywhere and she was fed up with public transport. She had endeavored many nasty surprises from public transport from smelly old men sitting next to her even though there was an empty seat on the other side.

Nikita had another long but enjoyable day at work she normally would be picked up by her mom or dad but today they had to attend a meeting at the council where they both worked. She really didn't want to catch the bus home as she had many unpleasant experiences on buses. The last time she was on a bus she was being mentally tormented by this kid who had his music on loud and it was some really awful rock music which nearly pierced her ears. She thought she was going to go deaf. It was at that point when she got home she decided she was going to take double driving lessons in order to get her prepared for her driving test. Her instructor was a nice man who taught her all the maneuvers that would likely to be on the test and all the relevant information that would be asked at a driving test. Her normal driving lesson would be just under an hour and although she felt that she was a good learner driver she just wanted to be perfect enough so that she will pass.

On the day of the test she felt sick she didn't know whether she was to it or not. Her mother gave her some advice, ''Listen Hun the best thing i can tell you is that whatever you do, you must follow the instruction of the examiner. Be alert and drive how you normally do and try not to be nervous. If you just follow these simple rules there is no doubt that you will pass.'' Nikita tried her best to be calm and tried to remember some answers to some possible questions being asked. At the test centre she waited for her examiner who came in the waiting room and greeted her and told her to show him the car she was going to be taking the test in. He seemed nice enough but she knew that whether he was nice or not did not mean anything it was her driving that really needed to be smooth. She got into the car and he asked her some routine questions which she answered smoothly. He told her to start the engine and turn to the left at the end of the road. She began her driving test still feeling nervous but she was calm as she thought it is not the end of the world. She began to think in her mind to calm her nerves this is just another driving lesson and that the examiner was not taking the test he was just giving her a normal driving lesson. This mentality seemed to have worked for her because she soon began to lose all her nerves and drive very confidently.

A week later Nikita bought a car from her work place it was a perfect blue Peugeot 206 what she wanted. She no longer needed her parents to pick her up or drop her off she was able to take herself anywhere. Having a car and being able to drive is the best thing Nikita could have done. It seemed her driving lesson
