Hi! My name is Maddie and I’m 11 years old. I just wanted to share this story with you. I was 9 when this happened. It started out at my house, which, having 3 older brothers, 2 older sisters, and a little sister, was a little chaotic. Really chaotic! We were too many to go in the same car, so we got used to having friends motoring us to school.

Two of us would normally get friends to take us. But one day, dad camehome with a scooter. He said one of us can go in it with our oldest brother, who is turning 17. But first he needed a driving lesson. He had no idea how to drive.

We all eagerly waited for the day my brother would learn to drive. But he went to driving lesson after driving lesson and still didn't have his license. Finally, my dad decided to go talk to his driving instructor. Unfortunately, just that day, he had to run fora meeting and the next day was my brother's birthday, and my dad didn't want to upset him, because he knew my brother wouldn't like it if my dad talked the the instructor.

The next day, on my brother's birthday, we threw a surprise birthday party for him, except it wasn't a surprise because we throw surprise birthday parties for all our family member's birthdays every year, so he suspected. But he enjoyed anyway. So the day just went on until the time he satdown toopen presents.

We loved seeing him open his presents, especially because he thought most of his presents were babyish or girlish and gave them to us!

After opening up his presents, we gave him ours. Then to our surprise, he handed us a little package and said "This is for all of you!" We ripped the package open and guess what was in it...

So we opened that and found...

We thought it was just a joke now and hastily opened box after box till the last one. And guess what it contained...

A DRIVER'S LICENSE!!

"I only went to one driving lesson and the instructor was so happy he gave me mylicenseafter atest." He explained. We were so happy we didn't have to carpool anymore. Guess what? I was the first to ride behind him, because even ifI have six other siblings, I'M HIS FAVORITE!
